I posted this question before but did not get a brief answer for it. I will try to explain the issue. The spreadsheet looks little bit like that: Columns A-G contain various info about customers where column G is called "product sold". Conditional formatting was used to change the cell colour if value in cell G(1,2...etc) is equal to "YES". How can I use VBA and Macros to make the spreadsheet send an e-mail to customer if the product has been sold (if G(1, 2 ...) = YES) ??
I tried to find any tips on web forums but no luck.
If you have any referece (links) I could go to that would be handy too.

Can I set up email from MS Outlook 2003 on a computer w/o the Internet?
I'm writing this from a mobile browser, but a friend is going to give me a computer with MS applications on it, including MS Outlook 2003.
I won't be able to get the internet on the computer for some time. Will I still be able to set up an email account with the Outlook?
What will the address be like, for instance:
Myusername@(what?).(what?).
Not sure if she still has the manual for Outlook; I don't think she does. Any info will be helpful. Thank you!

MS Microsoft Access 97 - Email people using a combo box?
I have a table that is 2 columns and stores people's names and their email address. I also have a form with some information to be entered. I want to have a combo box at the bottom of the form where someone can click the box, scroll down to the person they want and select that person. After they select that person I would want a command button that they could click and initiate the email to send only to the person that was selected. Is this possible?

You will have to upgrade your Yahoo email account. Back before the bubble burst, you could incorporate your Yahoo email with Outlook, but not any more.
I am not sure what the fee is for this. FYI - If you have a Gmail account, you can use that in Outlook/Outlook Express for free. Google has instructions on their web site.

Can't send email through MS Outlook?
When I setup Outlook to access my yahoo emails through POP, I set the SSL as instructed - incoming to 995 and outgoing to 465, authenticated, etc. etc. All worked fine. Now it has stopped working and I get this error message
Task 'Pete - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Yahoo DOES support SSL secured connections, so why the problem? Is it a cunning plan to get us to log in to yahoo in order to send emails?
Does anyone know how to contact Yahoo directly for help? This forum is the closest thing that I can find to customer support!

u cant get "idle" status if you are invisible, it only idle if u are online and u dont use the messenger for certain time (depends how many minutes u set in your messenger before it idle) to set it

I have figured out how to email using MS Access but when the message I create has a link, it does not activate to be clicked in Outlook (or in the emails I have sent to myself to test). I think what I am missing is to change the type of email to HTML.

The reason this is happening is because when you open outlook it transfers all of that information. You need to open outlook go to tools, accounts, click on mail, go to att.yahoo.com which is who your email is through. Then click on properties, go to the tab that says advanced, at the bottom there is a box to have check marked that says, leave a copy of message on server, you can also choose how many days you want it left on the server and different things like that. Hope that helps ya out.

First. what do you mean by "att Yahoo"? what is that? and what Microsoft outlook has to do with your yahoo mail? Do you have Outlook configured to be your mail server or are you using the ATT mail system? Also, do you have outlook set to import your yahoo mail automatically? I don't understand what you are doing or what you have done between your mail servers. Give us some more feed back as to what and how things are setup/working so some one can help you. Also, try the following steps and see if the problem goes away. I hope it does!

Before doing any of the maintenance steps outlined below make sure that your system is free from viruses and/or of any other undesirable Internet bugs, by running a thorough security scan of your machine.
Now, do the following as needed:
“I” (FOR WINDOWS XP-IE6)
While you are connected to the Internet do the following:
1. Click on tools ... Internet options. There you will see three buttons next to each other... “Delete Cookies” ... “Delete Files” and “Settings.” Also, below the settings button you will see another one “Clear history.”
2. Click on “settings” - go to “Edit” - Click on “select all” - Go to files, click delete and wait till all Internet trash files are gone.
3. Go back and click on “delete cookies” and wait till all cookies are gone
4. Go back and click on “Delete files,” put a check mark on the little white square shown on the small window that will open, click OK and wait for a little.
5. Go back and click on “Clear history”, click “yes” and you are done. Go to item “III” now.
ADDITIONAL INFO.: Here is how to clean website addresses from you IE6 browser bar: While you are connected to Internet, go to “Tools” … “Internet Options,” “Content” tab … “Auto Complete button” … click on “clear forms” and you are finished.

The reason this is happening is because when you open outlook it transfers all of that information. You need to open outlook go to tools, accounts, click on mail, go to att.yahoo.com which is who your email is through. Then click on properties, go to the tab that says advanced, at the bottom there is a box to have check marked that says, leave a copy of message on server, you can also choose how many days you want it left on the server and different things like that. First. what do you mean by "att Yahoo"? what is that? and what Microsoft outlook has to do with your yahoo mail? Do you have Outlook configured to be your mail server or are you using the ATT mail system? Also, do you have outlook set to import your yahoo mail automatically? I don't understand what you are doing or what you have done between your mail servers. Give us some more feed back as to what and how things are setup/working so some one can help you. Also, try the following steps and see if the problem goes away. I hope it does!

They are roughly the same size, both species average anywhere from three feet to six feet (though the latter is VERY rare, particularly for Corns), with four feet being about average in my experience. However with Milk snakes, it does depend heavily on the subspecies. Some rarely exceed three feet, and some are more likely to reach five-seven.
While both Corn snakes and Milk snakes can be very docile; Corns do tend to tame down much more readily and are generally quite a bit calmer.

Cannot copy paste from yahoo email to MS word 2000 after IE7 install. Any Help/fix?
I installed IE7 a few weeks ago, soon after I noticed a problem doing a copy of text from my Yahoo Email to MS word 2000, it no longer worked and causes Word program to hang.
I have been doing copy-paste for years with not problem until now.
I removed the reinstalled Office 2000 premium form my CD-set and still have the problem. I removed IE7 and went back to IE6.02XX. Still the same problem, I updated my MS Windows XP Home from the CD, you guessed it, SAME PROBLEM!!!
I have searched the Internet trying to find a fix to no avail. Also checked Microsoft and as usual a waste of time鈥hat Microsoft says is to up grade to a newer version, TOTAL BS!!!
If anyone has found a fix to this problem I would be most grateful.

Are you sure the original document was saved as an MS Word document? Some other formats do not always transfer clearly to e-mails

I'm having a problem setting up a Yahoo email account in MS Outlook 2003. When i try to send an email from outlook using yahoo I get the following error message.

What should I do if I interviewed for a job and just got an email saying I'm one of three finalists?
The interviewer told me that he and his team are going to deliberate this week and decide by the end of the week. I replied to his email and thanked him and his team for their team, re-expressed my interest, and restated my qualifications. Is there anything else that I can do? Well maybe you are trying to copy a link from your emails...try copying and pasting the text into Wordpad, then coping that text again, and then putting it in MS word.

Reply:Yes yahoo has pop servers, but you need to have a premium service to be able to use the pops. ^__^ if you have a paid account.. then you can check you pop servers by going to you mail settings using IE browser, login to yahoo mail and check the options from there.

Hi. I understand your frustration, believe me! I'm not 100% about this but there should be a place in Outlook where you can "select all" of your emails (probably under a heading called "edit" or perhaps "view") and then instruct Outlook to email them (probably you will then have to go to "messages" and click on "send" or something similar) to wherever you want them to go...essentially you will be emailing them back to yourself. I really miss the auto-correct feature - defaults set by MS and those I added myself. I dislike being forced to capitalize my initial letter in sentences (like I said - I'm spoiled). Surely yahoo has some sort of feature that at least does that??? Even the text function on my cell phone automatically capitalizes the first letter in a sentence - is yahoo really that unsophisticated?

MS Outlook Email Retreival?
My computer crashed and I was able to save the hard drive with my data. As a quick fix, I placed it in an external enclosure so that I can access my information via my laptop. The only part of my fies that I am unable to access is my Outlook files : inbox, sent, subfolders etc. Is there any way that I can recover the information? There is no way for me to put the hard drive back in the old computer because the processor is what is broken and I have not replaced. Thanks!

Well, considering that using IMAP you're only reading your messages from mail server, the spam folder in your Outlook wouldn't work. If you decide to download your messages via POP3 or MAPI then your Junk mail filter would most likely kick in.

When you're creating a new email, there should be a button somewhere that says "add attachment" or something along those lines. Click it, then there should be an empty box and should be a button that says "browse" click that, and locate the file. Then double click it, and then click add attatchment. Thats the best help I can give without knowing what email you use.

I tried to write an email in MS Word and send it. (I don't mean saving it as a file and sending it as an attachment ... I mean being in Word, using the "File", "Send To", "Mail Recipient", enter the email address, hit "Send" option.) Anyway, the first time it prompted me to set up my incoming and outgoing server information. I had a typo, and so now it gives me an error message. How do I get back to the prompt to re-enter the server information? (Unfortunately I had checked that I wanted it to remember my information, so it keeps re-using the typo version.)

You can't use Outlook to set up the account on the Exchange server. The Exchange mailbox must be created by an admin. If the Exchange account has been created, you can setup Outlook to connect to the account. If Outlook hasn't been configured for your particular user profile, it will walk you through setting up the account when you open it. You must choose Exchange Server as the type of account and the provide the correct info about the server name and mailbox user account. If Outlook is already configured, you must change or create a new profile. You can't add an exchange server while Outlook is open. The easiest way to get to the Outlook profile settings would be to use the Windows control panel. Under the control panel you will find the Mail icon. That will allow access to the Outlook configuration without having Outlook running.
Another thing to look for is where the mail will be stored. You have the option of Personal Folders or username mailbox. Personal folders exist on your local hard drive. The mailbox exists on the server. If you use the personal folder method, all your mail will be on your local machine once it's collected from the server.
