HELP......cannot send email from MS Outlook Express 6...????

It looks as though the email went fine (it is in my sent bin) but the recipient never actually receives it?





No error messages!





Interestingly my web mail (comcast) works when sending, but not Outlook Express??





I share the computer so there is another identity set up in MS Outlook and that identity sends and receives email just fine.





I have contacted my service provider and they claim the problem is with MS Outlook?





How can that be when the other id works fine?





I guess it has something to do with my outgoing mail server?





Any suggestions?

Check the settings on your outgoing smtp server. There was a recent change that requires some users to change their outgoing settings so that the id referenced matches the email address.





Example:





your@email.com smtp.email.yahoo.com





Also make sure SSL is checked which should set port 465
