How come I'm getting an email about a cancelled order when I never ordered anything?

This is the second time and usually my email will spot spam but it doesn't mark this as spam. The sender is subscriber_Services@PBPInfo.Com and it said I ordered law books but then cancelled my order. It gives a website but I don't click on it. Is this just spam to go to the website or could it be fraud?
How come I'm getting an email about a cancelled order when I never ordered anything?
It's called phishing. They get you thinking "WTF?" in hopes you'll try to resolve the situation and get you to go to their website where there's likely a virus waiting to collect your personal information. Don't click on it.
Reply:Always verify! If you know that you didn't order anything ignore it and add them to your blocked senders list. There are tons of scams out there. Here are a couple of tips to tell if it is spam:

1. Unprofessional wording and spelling errors.

2. From an email address such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc. Businesses that are online usually have their own website.

3. They refer to an account and prompt you to click on a particular link to update it.

4. They ask for your password.

Every company online knows the importance of Internet security so definitely contact the company if you are really concerned. By the way, sometimes when you sign up for something online, in the terms of service agreement they sign you up for a particular service that you know nothing about unless you read the long and boring agreement.
Reply:some one who may have ordered some thing off this website may have made a mistake when entering their email address, therefore accidentally entering your email address.
Reply:I wouldn't worry about it.

Just don't give away any information.
Reply:It's a scam to get you to buy those books
Reply:spam!!!

just delete these type of emails without opening them.
Reply:someone is ordering stuff and using yor email address
Reply:maybe there is a mistake and they are trying to get it to a similar email adress?
