I just set up a Yahoo Mailbox. If I click on a link to send an email it brings up MS Outlook and an old POP?

Does Yahoo have a POP server address to put in so I can make it my default mail server?

This is what you need to do if you want to make Yahoo! Mail your default email program. Follow the directions below and it will solve your problem.

Teach your computer to use Yahoo! Mail.

Using Internet Explorer just click "Continue" on the link below to download a small 60K file that will enable Yahoo! Mail to be the default email program for your computer. Whenever you click on an email address on any web page or in any computer program, Yahoo! Mail will open for you in a new window.

If Internet Explorer displays a yellow security bar at the top, click on it and select Install ActiveX Control from the menu.

If a security warning comes up with Yahoo! Inc. as the publisher, click Install.

Now you can click on an email address anywhere and your computer will automatically open up Yahoo! Mail for you.

You can even send documents directly from Word, Excel, or other Windows applications.

Requirements:

鈥?Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP / Vista

鈥?Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher

Reply:Yes yahoo has pop servers, but you need to have a premium service to be able to use the pops. ^__^ if you have a paid account.. then you can check you pop servers by going to you mail settings using IE browser, login to yahoo mail and check the options from there.
Reply:Yahoo has a POP server, but you need to be a paying customer to use it. You should be able to set your default mail as yahoo by choosing the default email program by going to the Tools -%26gt; Internet Options -%26gt; Programs -%26gt; E-Mail. See if you have this in your IE
