I've created a document with MS Vista's Word program. How do I save it as an ASCII file so I can email it?

File%26gt;Save As... Then choose the format you want to save in. Also if that does not have the ASCII format, try plain text, ".txt" file, that will work too.

you can mail it anyway!!?
Reply:Email programs can handle non-ASCII files these days. They do a conversion that makes the email network think the file is ASCII, then the email program at the other end converts it back.

The only gotcha here is that whoever receives the file must have a program that reads that format file, in this case, MS Word or the MS Word viewer.

Hope that helps.
Reply:Just highlight it, copy it and paste is into email
Reply:You can send it as an attachment. The recipient would have to have a program that would open the attachment.
Reply:I would save ii in a word document by copying and pasting it or maybe you can forward the document as a attachment when you email it. The only thing I would be afraid of is would they be able to read it.
